The Durango has Dodge's trademark big truck face, but it's a little smaller than the other full-size SUVs. Still, its fuel economy is even lower than competitors' larger SUVs.
Chrysler will offer a hybrid version of the Durango and its close sibling, the Chrysler Aspen, later this year. But since prices will be higher for those versions, it remains to be seen how much those will actually help sales.
Durango sales dropped from 173,600 in 2000 to just 45,500 last year, according to PIN.
