The Dodge Durango is slightly larger than a typical mid-size SUV like the Ford Explorer. But its interior isn't as nice as the Explorer's - or most vehicles for that matter - and its ride doesn't feel as controlled.
The Durango now faces competition on the showroom floor from the new Dodge Journey crossover.
While not the best crossover around, the Journey has much better fuel fuel economy, a nicer interior and much better road manners than the Durango in a package that's just a little smaller. That's a trade-off many shoppers are more than willing to make.
