Video quality: "Pretty crisp," Leak declared. He thought flesh tones came out better than on most other units.
The big picture: A strong runner-up and a good alternative if you want the max recording time of a hard-disk drive and are computer-savvy. (You can also opt to record onto a flash card, though.)
