Make the most of your photos
Summer's over, and your PC is chock-full of new vacation pics. We've rounded up the smartest ways to share the good times -- without spending a bundle.
A digital photo frame will play a constant slide show of snaps -- perfect for showing off your trip to co-workers. But beware before you buy: Many widescreen models stretch photos unrealistically or display black bars on the sides. Also, frames that cost less than $50 usually trade image quality for low price.
Our pick: Pandigital's Eight-Inch Pantouch Photo Frame ($92). It's more square than many models -- making it a better match for snapshots -- and has a sharp 800-by-600 resolution. Best of all, it's priced at the lower end for advanced eight-inch frames. That's in part because it isn't Wi-Fi activated, so you can't upload pics wirelessly. But few people use that feature anyway. (Want it? Buy a $25 adapter.)
