Another ride with a British theme, Maximum RPM was designed to resemble a car assembly line - with a British rock soundtrack. Each car slides onto one of four platforms on a rotating 70-foot wheel. When a car reaches the top of the wheel, a track slips into place at the last minute, and the screaming riders are pushed off into a stomach-lurching ride.
"It's a thrilling experience, because you can't see the track when you're pushed off," says Seay.
Even those waiting in line are given a British experience, as they pass through a queue lined with red phone booths and rock out to Brit karaoke. Maximum RPM was awarded first prize for Best New Product last year at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions convention.
