"We've been in the Chrysler business since 1995, but we have another Ford-Mercury dealership across the street that has been open for 27 years. It's fortuitous that we already anticipated moving our Chrysler employees over to Ford. We're in a good position and we won't look back.
We had no indication there would be a list. After the bankruptcy, we started preparing for the uncertainty by reducing inventory. Maybe that decision played into our being on the list. However, I believe we made the right decision.
But despite our positive situation, it is graceful for Chrysler to not pay for inventories and not pick up parts. That will have a negative impact on the business. We are not the problem.
