It's hard to find a good, inexpensive collectible car from the 1950s. The secret, said Hagerty, is to look where the excitement isn't. In other words, hard-top sedans, not convertibles, and nothing too powerful. The Roadmaster is an excellent example of car that still has that chrome-laden look that says "1950s excess" without actually being too excessive.
