After three years at Hyundai, marketer Joel Ewanick left in March to become vice president of marketing at Nissan but departed that job after just five weeks for a similar post at GM. In December, he was elevated to head of global marketing, his fourth position in 2010. Ewanick's travels created turmoil among advertising agencies. After 91 years with Chevrolet, advertising agency Campbell-Ewald was replaced by Publicis in April, which in turn was succeeded in May by Goodby, Silverstein.
