Suzanne Kosmas
24th District of Florida

Kosmas ousted Republican incumbent Tom Feeney by a deceptively wide margin in 2008. (Feeney was hobbled by his association with the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal, and his ethics problems dominated the campaign.) Kosmas ran as an independent-minded candidate, but she has largely voted with her party. Republicans have a late, crowded primary to determine their nominee. The front-runner, Craig Miller, is the former CEO of the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse chain; he probably could finance his bid if necessary.

NEXT: Bill Foster
