Just because there are a lot of jobs somewhere doesn't mean they pay well. According to compensation website Payscale.com, here are the only sizable metro areas in the continental U.S. with unemployment below 8% (the national average is 9.7%) plus mid-career pay for college grads above the $75,000 national average.
