Yes, they illuminate, but these lamps also add beauty and artistry to a room. The wood-and-glass creations have fluidity about them; they almost seem to be swaying on the floor.

The globes are made from what Clark Renfort identified as "slumped glass," which is heated and then allowed to soften and, well, slump onto a hand-formed molds. The impact is like a free-form Tiffany shade.

Prices start at $1,225 for a table lamp and $2,400 for a floor lamp.
