Hundreds of teenage boys gathered outside a Foot Locker store in Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, NJ, anxiously awaiting the launch of Nike's Air Jordan Black Cement 3.
The $160 shoes were the only reason Adam Pyryt said he turned out for Black Friday, for the first time ever.
"I'm here, but I think it's just ridiculous," he said. "People forget about the whole point of Thanksgiving."
Starting Black Friday, two U.S. malls will track guests' movements by monitoring the signals from their cell phones.
