The boom attracted tens of thousands of people from all over the world, including the Neiffer family from nearby Idaho. But now that oil prices are falling, people are concerned for their jobs.

"They've already started laying people off," said Aaron Neiffer, who works as a roustabout on a drilling rig. "I'm worried."
