To be perfectly honest, the MKZ's interior just didn't do it for me. I thought the widely used silver-colored plastic looked particularly cheap.
On the other hand, some people who rode with me in the MKZ were quite impressed and thought the interior looked really nice. Here's a picture. We'll let you decide.
But there were some really good points to the MKZ's interior. I particularly liked the steering wheel. The two faux-wood sections fall right where the hands rest during straight-ahead cruising. Usually, wood-trimmed steering wheels put the wood part around the top, where your hands go while turning. But this feels better, and it looks nice, too.
