Added power gives it much better acceleration than the old Zephyr. The MKZ's steering feels sharp and responsive for an inexpensive luxury car.
In turns, the MKZ feels quick, intuitive and well-balanced. Ford has done a good job of setting the MKZ apart from the competition and from its Ford siblings.
But for some cheap-seeming interior parts, the MKZ is an impressive car.
