The Enclave represents a fairly radical styling step for the usually conservative Buick.
It's a large 3-row crossover SUV. It shares its basic engineering with the recently introduced Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia. But, aside from size and shape, the three SUVs share none of their interior or exterior appearance. The production Enclave's exterior is very close to the concept version first shown at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show last January.
Inside, it looks nice but less rustic-chic than the concept.
It will be available with seven- or eight-passenger seating. Dual sunroofs will cover both front and second-row occupants.
The Enclave will be powered by a 275-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine.
