Their golden arrow may seem strangely reminiscent of the trademark of another popular hamburger chain, but fast food fanatics would tell you eating an In-N-Out Burger is an unparalleled experience. Maybe it's the "Double-Double" (two beef patties, two slices of cheese), the hand-cut fries or the company's commitment to using fresh ingredients, but this Irvine, Calif.-based chain has become an established West Coast institution. And with the success of both Chipotle Mexican Grill and Burger King, which made public offerings earlier this year, In-N-Out burger would be tops on his list of companies to go public, said Ben Holmes, head of Morningnotes.com, an IPO research firm. "It's a total cult restaurant," says Holmes. "People would chase that one."
