Greg Norman: How to play my course

The golfing great offers a hole-by-hole guide to the links he personally designed for the Red Sky Golf Club in the Colorado mountains.

I've always enjoyed the challenge of figuring out the correct club to hit at high altitude courses. I like a golf course that makes you think on every shot, and that philosophy is magnified when you add altitude to the equation.

I normally hit 7-iron on this hole from the back tees, but I have hit as little as a 9-iron downwind. And let me tell you, it's difficult to talk yourself into that club when you look down at the yardage plate.

This is a mid-length par 3 with bunkers guarding the back left and back right pin positions. We designed par-3s of varying lengths at Red Sky in an effort to make players use every club in the bag.
