Luxury for the rest of us

Here's a look at the less expensive polishes, perfumes and pendants that make regular folks feel like a million bucks.

Cartier's Love collection, which originally debuted in the 1970s and relaunched in 2006, has become the jeweler's biggest hit thanks to a signature screw design symbolizing a bond between two people. An 18-karat yellow gold bracelet, which fastens with a tiny gold screwdriver that can be worn separately as a pendant, retails for just $3,300. And the high-end jeweler recently introduced a much less expensive knotted silk bracelet (pictured), which retails for under $500, a portion of which is donated to charity.
