Truckin' into the Chicago Auto Show

Trucks are usually a big focus at this show, but performance cars are making a splash this year, too.

Volkswagen Routan
The Routan is a Volkswagen minivan built by Chrysler. It's essentially a Euro-style version of the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.

The Routan will not be available with Chrysler's Swivel 'n' Go seating option that allows the second and third rows to face each other. But it will share the available two-screen entertainment system, and it boasts 13 cupholders.

The Routan will be powered by a 197-horsepower, V6 engine. A 251-horsepower V6 will be an option. The suspension and steering have been re-tuned for improved ride and handling, VW promises. Prices will start just below $25,000.
