Even Toyota is putting incentives on 2009 models these days. And not just on the fuel-hogging SUVs that are particularly unpopular these days.
Popular models like the Toyota Camry, Corolla and Rav4 are also available with 0% financing for up 36 months. You can also lease a Camry for $229 for 36 months with a $1,999 initial payment.
Long a top-selling car - usually the top-selling car - Camry's aren't selling too badly, even now. A typical example takes just 35 days to get snapped up by a buyer, according to Edmunds.com.
But Toyota's overall sales went down badly last month, so putting incentives on models like these is a good way to boost dealership traffic and sales.
