Small SUV - Ford Escape
The 2009 redesign of the Ford Escape is subtle. Outside it looks no different. But the little SUV's engines and transmission have been updgraded for noticibly better performance.
Front-impact safety, according to IIHS tests, has also been greatly improved. ESC is also available on hybrid versions of the Escape for the first time.
