Spending $100,000 on a Tesla means more than adding an electric car to Foreman's over-60-car collection. "I am buying a little hope for the country," he says. Even though he's unsure whether the gas-free automobile could solve the gas crisis, Foreman has already seen a potential business opportunity. When more electric cars get down the road, drivers will need charging stations instead of traditional gas stations. "It's a rising empire. And I want to be a part of that."
