As crude prices declined over the last few months, ExxonMobil's stock slowly fell as well. But the oil and gas behemoth still produced a record third quarter, drilling up $13 billion in profits. While oil prices remain unpredictable, investors believe that Exxon, with its barrels of cash, is poised to stay dominant in the coming months.
