The Incredible Hulk
Release date: June 13
Studio: Marvel Entertainment Inc. MVL

Though the "Incredible Hulk" and "Iron Man" are both Marvel productions, there is a clear favorite between the two. And the smart money is not on green.

The Hulk made his big screen debut in 2003 in Ang Lee's "Hulk" (apparently he wasn't incredible at that time) with a production cost of $150 million. That film brought in a puny $132 million overall.

What's more, the marketing effort behind "Incredible Hulk" has been scant compared with the blitz that has accompanied the release of "Iron Man." Granted, there is still more than a month to go before "Incredible Hulk" is released, so we may see more marketing in the weeks to come.

But rumor has it that Edward Norton, who stars as Bruce Banner, has clashed with Marvel's upper management and is refusing to participate in the company's publicity drive. By contrast, the decision to cast Robert Downey Jr. in "Iron Man" has generated significant buzz for that film.
