The Bentley-esque Chrysler 300 is an icon of non-luxury luxury. That 's not to say it's understated though. That grille demands attention.
Chrysler's financial problems have postponed a now-overdue redesign of this roomy cruiser, but the 300C is good enough that it can still hold its own fairly well.
The Hemi V8 engine pumps out loads of power and the 300C's handling benefits from former parent Daimler's suspension engineering. (Let's not say they did nothing for Chrysler.)
Age helps the 300C's interior design, which dates back to the days before cost cutting led to a plague of chintzy interiors at Chrysler. An analog clock and gauges with an art deco touch add to the fantasy of opulence.
