Moller's M400 Skycar

Paul Moller, a former engineering professor at the University of California at Davis and now chairman of Moller International, is working on the M400 Skycar, a sports car-like vehicle designed to take off and land vertically.

While the car has completed initial hover tests, Moller is trying to raise money so it can build up to three M400 rototypes for further testing. Moller hopes to someday sell to business travelers who need to get in and out of city centers, but initially the company will target public safety entities like hospitals.
