Hardcore gamers and casual players alike will enjoy the vivid images on the iPad's large screen. Like other apps, existing iPhone games can be scaled up to fill the screen. Multi-touch and tilt capabilities are even more exciting on the larger device; phones are great for quick games, but the iPad is closer to computer or console gaming.

First-person shooters as well as multiplayer games will especially benefit from the sharp graphics, but the touch-only aspect may be an adjustment for those used to buttons and physical controllers.
