From his base in Moscow, Milner runs Digital Sky Technologies, the world's hottest pure-play Internet investing operation. DST was an early investor in Zynga and Groupon. Early this year Milner partnered with Goldman Sachs in a $500 million private equity investment in Facebook that valued the company at $50 billion. In his other job, the Russian-born Wharton grad chairs Mail.ru, a portfolio of social-networking and online-communication services that serves the Russian-speaking world.
