No Sweat
By Daisy Chan

(FORTUNE Small Business) – Kurt Robinson had a hoop dream three years ago when he was a referee for men's amateur basketball. Inspired by the sight of a worker using a tacky-looking towel-wrapped dust mop to mop up sweat during an NBA game, he created the No Sweat Wipe, a large disk with washable wipes attached to an aluminum pole. Robinson, 40, of Garden Grove, Calif., has 25 of the 29 NBA teams using his product free of charge. He recently signed a three-year deal with the Federation of International Basketball Association for his wipes to be used at all world championships. On tap: several pending deals with companies that want to advertise on his disks. --D.C.
