(MONEY Magazine) – Wall Street's wobbly bull aside, the MONEY Magazine/ABC poll found Americans pulling in their horns. Some 65% feared that a '70s-style energy crisis, gas lines and all, is either very or somewhat likely to recur by the end of 1990. A full 31% said they would cut back their harder-to-deduct charitable contributions this year, and our consumer confidence index remained in the minus column.
