(MONEY Magazine) – Is the fat lady singing for real estate? When dotcoms got into high-falutin sponsorships--as in the case of the short-lived CMGI Field, say, or Kozmo.com's backing of Seattle's annual arts festival--it signaled the top of the tech market. Now home builder Toll Bros. will sponsor the Metropolitan Opera's legendary radio broadcasts starting Dec. 17, and other real estate companies are following suit. Yikes.
