Palm may have scored the product placement of the year: In the romantic comedy, Russell Crowe's Max Skinner uses his Treo 650 nonstop – for calls, photos, e-mail and even choosing a wine. Palm says it doesn't pay for the Treo's guest appearances in movies or TV. One recent Treo cameo that wasn't a winner: "Snakes on a Plane," one of the year's most hyped films – and biggest flops.
