The 2005 Mustang redesign that reignited America's love of the pony car - and inspired Ford's competitors to bring back the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger - is starting to show its age. Ford has been trying to boost sales by issuing a variety of "special edition" Mustangs, like Warriors in Pink (shown here) and the dark green Bullitt Mustang, not to mention various high-powered Shelby derivatives.
In the nick of time, another redesign - the 2010 Mustang - is expected to be unveiled in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For now, Ford isn't waiting until the summer to start putting incentives on the 2009's.
You can get a V6 2009 Mustang now with your choice of a $1,500 rebate, 2.9% financing for 36 months or 4.9% financing for 60 months.
