Overall, President Obama is doing a great job. I'm pretty much a conservative fellow, but I did vote for him. I think the change is happening, but I don't expect it will completely turn overnight.
He's a great orator and a brilliant man. He never fumbles over his words, even when put on the spot. But he hasn't had a chance to take care of either of my concerns: infrastructure and jobs.
I think there was something in the budget for infrastructure, but it's taken a backseat to handling the economy. Same with jobs. And I don't think McCain would have handled either of those better.
I'm glad Obama disposed of Rick Wagoner at GM, because he ran that company into the ground. Hopefully that will save GM, and Obama will keep being decisive with future issues.
I'm still quite hopeful that he'll handle infrastructure and jobs. Give him a year or two. Things won't change in a heart beat.
