I'm still very angry about the bailouts. It was a black hole. Where did this money go? I'm an educated person, and I am still confused about that. It's taxpayer money - at the very least they could make it clear where the money went.
I called the IRS in January and asked for a bailout, sort of jokingly. They said I had a good sense of humor. The guy said, "I'd like a bailout, too!"
A lot of small businesses don't feel like they've gotten any help at all. I have to pay double for Social Security for myself. That's a specific thing they can do to help, yet nobody even discusses these types of issues.
Still, I am 150% for Obama. I am really still tickled pink that we've elected our first nonwhite male. I remain encouraged, hopeful and optimistic. I can't imagine how overwhelmed they are. I'd just like to see them do something real for real people.
