Mini Beachcomber concept
The Mini Beachcomber is a radical concept car version of a new crossover SUV BMW's Mini division plans to sell here early next year.

In this version, Mini has taken the open-air driving experience to the extreme Jeep Wrangler-style with detachable roof and doors. If the weather turns foul, drivers can attach a cloth roof or hard, lightweight roof and door panels.

The all-wheel-drive Beachcomber is loosely based on the Mini Moke, a version of the original Mini that was popular in sunny climes during the 1960s.
