If General Motors were to actually bring the Granite crossover SUV to market, it would be the smallest vehicle ever sold by the truck-only brand. It's two-feet shorter than the GMC Terrain compact crossover, GMC's version of the Chevrolet Equinox.
With its with its low floor and straight sides, the Granite has ample interior space,, GM promises. The front passenger seat and right rear center fold up to provide more storage space, if needed.
The Granite is powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine and it has a six-speed transmission.
