Whereas the first film touted Vitamin Water, the sequel is promoting Lipton Sparkling Green Tea, a new sponsor. One gossip site said Carrie is seen drinking the new carbonated iced tea before heading to the gym, but a Lipton spokeswoman said she's not sure if the scene made the final cut.
SATC is promoting Lipton on the film's Facebook page. Meanwhile, as part of its sponsorship, Lipton launched an SATC-themed Web page that reads like a women's magazine, offering recipes, fashion and beauty tips and a contest to win a trip to New York.
