Miami: Ah, nice weather. Good club scene. He could do worse.
Daniel de la Vega, an agent with One Sotheby's International Realty in Coral Gables, said James would love Indian Creek in Miami Beach, an island in Biscayne Bay. Don Shula, former football coach, would be a neighbor.
It's quiet, private and has select homes. A six-bedroom, 7,500-square-foot waterfront neo-classical house built in 1956 is on the market for less than $20 million. It's not far from South Beach and the Art Deco district.
"It's a family friendly place but just a short drive from the craziness," said de la Vega.
Or James could follow the lead of Heat player Dwayne Wade, who recently sold his Pine Crest home and planted himself at The Four Seasons hotel/condo complex in the Brickell district downtown. It's near the Heat's home court, and Brickell is hopping with a younger generation moving in for post-bust affordability and a new-for-Miami urban-living experience.
