A company scandal involving CEO Mark Hurd did little to dampen HP's steady profit growth to $8.8 billion, with the majority of sales coming from the Enterprise Business group. The company also made headlines when it and Dell entered a bidding war over cloud company 3PAR, though HP would ultimately walk away with the data storage specialist for almost $2.4 billion.
