As Cisco sees it, companies are transitioning from traditional siloed data centers to networked virtual environments, and the company's array of networking products means it's well-poised to benefit. So far, they're right. Profits rebounded after a down year, thanks to increased product sales across all categories, from high-end routers to switching products. CEO John Chambers is repositioning the company to serve enterprise customers, killing the Flip video camera division which the company had purchased for $590 million in 2009.
