American Eagle: Pay with your phone
American Eagle: Pay with your phone

Just in time for back to school, American Eagle is rolling out Google Wallet in 90 stores in five cities.

In New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, you'll be able to just tap and pay for back to school purchases at the store using Google Wallet's app. That means you wouldn't have to carry a bulky wallet when you shop, or worry about losing your credit cards as you juggle with shopping bags in crowded stores.

As an added incentive to sign up, the retailer is offering extra discounts with each mobile payment for a limited time. American Eagle expects to roll out Google Wallet in 210 additional stores by Sept. 1.
