Parents probably don't know exactly where to find everything they need to buy their kids for school. Sears hopes its Personal Shopper app can help.
Just take a picture of a product you see in any store -- it doesn't have to be Sears -- and the photo is sent to Sears' in-house team of experts. They will try to find that item, or a similar one, at Sears, and will email or call you when they do. Sears said the app helps consumers compare products and prices at different stores before they buy.
Meanwhille, its mobile app lets you shop for back to school products on your phone, and have them shipped to your home or the nearest Sears.
