The American Management Association offers all kinds of management training.

Some bosses are horrible because they are inexperienced and just don't have a clue. For the micromanager who hasn't learned to let go, gift an online management training class or course.

The American Management Association offers a variety of management courses, including "Servant Leadership," "Management Skills for New Managers" or "Improving Your Managerial Effectiveness." Even better, sign your boss up for one called "Win. How to Engage and Energize Your Employees."

While you're at it, maybe you might want to sign up for some online assistance, too. On Oct.24 to 25, the AMA is offering a webinar called "How to Project Confidence to Difficult People."
