Miller became the oldest man to win an Olympic alpine skiing medal with his third place in the super-G event. It was his sixth Olympic medal of a long career.
But after disappointing performances in the downhill and super-combined events, he may need another medal to gain the commercial success of other multiple Olympic winners such as swimming champion Michael Phelps.
Miller is backed by sportswear company KJUS, though his complicated personal life may keep other sponsors at bay.
