Sabanci, 52, has had a busy year at the helm of her conglomerate, one of Turkey's biggest industrial and financial powerhouses. Revenue rose 14%, to $12 billion. And she sold a 20% stake in Akbank, one of Sabanci's 13 publicly traded companies, to Citigroup for $3 billion. She's also beefing up assets in electricity generation and retail.
