Since we covered Nolia in our June issue ("And They're Off!"), the odorless-sportswear startup (No. 8 at Rice) has gone on hiatus to work out kinks in its biz plan. One possibility: shifting focus from sweaty gym shirts to stinky running shoes, which CEO Danvers Fleury thinks might be a bigger market.

"That would really shake things up," Fleury wrote in an e-mail message.
