Over the past two years, Dalio has run the world's most successful hedge fund: His Pure Alpha fund rose by 45% in 2010 and is doing very well this year. Bridgewater currently holds around $125 billion in portfolio assets. Dalio is a macroeconomic strategist who predicted the U.S. housing collapse and subsequent Wall Street bloodbath. For that reason, his analysis of global deleveraging trends continues to attract wide attention.
