TLC Icon The Icon is built using a reinforced original Toyota FJ40 frame upon which TLC, a Vun Nuys, Calif., company that recreates classic Toyota FJs, adds a body that closely mimics the original. TLC generally uses Chevrolet V8 engines to power its off-roaders, but this one uses a 4-cylinder International engine that runs on biodiesel. It gets 25 to 30 miles per gallon, according to the company. The Icon is made for serious off-road use, according to The Robb Report, not highway cruising. And it doesn't come cheap.
